OMEGA’s LC900 Series bolt force sensor is a compression load cell designed to measure the clamping force of a bolt. With excellent long term stability and all stainless steel construction, the LC900 Series delivers high reliability in severe industrial environments. This unit is designed to operate by mounting on a flat surface between two mounting washers (included).

The LC901 is also available in metric configurations, with ranges from 0-10,000 to 0-500,000 N. Please see the LCM901 for complete details, or contact our Pressure department for more information.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 120 Ohm Load Cells The load cells have 120 Ohm resistance. Many of the load cell amplifiers available, including the one recommended for this product, require the load cell to have at least 300 Ohms resistance. That makes this device hard to use.

What is the actual transducer height without the additional washers?

Asked by: MLFEP
MLFEP, Thank you for your question. Please open the spec sheet and review the "W" dimension corresponding to your range.

Are the top and bottom washers required if the bottom of the transducer sits on a flat surface, and the item on the top has a .750 O.D. and .266 I.D.?

Asked by: MikeTG
The top washer should always be used. It assures the load is distributed around the I.D. evenly. The bottom washer would not be need if the surface the surface the load is resting on is perfectly flat
