PRESSURE SNUBBER - for dampening and filtering. The snubber has a porous metal disc available in three standard grades of porosity. Due to the large filter surface the snubber has less tendency to clog than orifice type devices. The housing is 303SS and the filter disc is 316SS with a maximum PSI rating of 10 000 at 25°C. (PS-8 series 5000 PSI)

Please note that the finish of pressure snubbers may vary. The flat surfaces on snubbers you receive may have a smooth and machined appearance or they may have a textured, shot-peened appearance. These are merely cosmetic differences that do not affect the functionality and performance of the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Presurre snubber This is a beautifully made and designed product at a very reasonable price. It works as advertised. My use is in the manifold pressure measuring system of a Garmin engine monitor. The pressure reading is very steady with the addition of the Omega snubber. It should be required with all Garmin engine monitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cost affective Worked to perfection. Makes flowline testing a cinch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reduce pressure sensor failures Snubbers are the perfect fit for systems where the sudden inrush of water is a problem and could damage gauges, transducers or pressure switches or cause erratic behaviour. These were used on a 15HP submersible well pump transducer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from stopped pressure fluctuations My digital manifold pressure sensor requires this part, without it my manifold pressure gauge was constantly fluctuating, about +/- 3". Now that I installed the snubber my pressure gauge is rock steady.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great This snubber calmed my gauge fluxuations as expected

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functions exactly as expected Gauge needle would bounce drastically above 20 psi prior to installing pressure snubber. Afterward gauge needle doesn't bounce, so pressure snubber works exactly as it is supposed to

Does it matter which direction the PS-4G snubber is installled in a Manifold Pressure Line?

Asked by: DGall
Thank you for your inquire. The snubber needs to be in the positive direction. It will not work if its used in a vacuum. Hope this was helpful

Does it matter if the positive pressure flows into the male end, or the female end?

Asked by: DGall
Positive flow should be going from female end outward
